Andrew Fryckowski is the Head of Bot Design at SentiOne, with experience as a conversation designer and voice bot tester. He’s been building and designing conversational AI assistants in chat and voice for the past 6 years. He’s an active member in the conversation design and voice tech communities.
He has experience in large conversational AI projects across a range of industries; in travel, insurance, banking and HR. He has worked with a range of platforms including Dialogflow, Wit.ai, IBM Watson and more, building bots on Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Workplace, IVRs and more.
He’s currently focused on leading a 12 person bot design team at SentiOne, working as a mentor and team lead. He advises the team on large scale bot automation projects, building multilingual customer support bots in banking and finance in the EMEA region.

Ahmed Ali is a Principal Engineer at the Arabic Language Technologies group (ALT) at the Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI). Ahmed is the founder of ArabicSpeech. He is the Chief Scientist in KANARI AI.
His work interests are in speech recognition and natural language processing.
Ahmed completed his PhD at the University of Edinburgh and BSc at Cairo University. He joined QCRI in 2011 and co-founded KANARI in 2020.
Prior to joining QCRI, Ahmed worked for Nuance in Cambridge, UK from 2009-2011. SpinVox (Marlow, startup) 2006-2009. Before SpinVox, Ahmed worked for six years at different IBM labs, including two years at Watson, USA, labs. His current research on speech recognition has led to the development of state-of-the-art multi-dialect Arabic speech recognition: QCRI advanced transcription system (QATS). QATS is used by Al-Jazeera to transcribe their online content. DW and BBC have been using QATS. Ahmed’s team has won first place in the worldwide MGB-2 speech recognition competition. He also won the prestigious Qatar Foundation Best Innovation Award in 2018.

Pankaj heads Mastercard’s Digital Products & Labs in Middle East & North Africa.
His responsibilities include accelerating the adoption of digital payment technologies like contactless, e-commerce, QR, remittances and network tokenization, building fintech community partnerships and exploring the commercial applicability of concepts like Blockchain and Open Banking for banks, merchants and government.
Pankaj has been closely involved in driving the rapid adoption of contactless payments in markets like UAE, KSA and Kuwait and has championed the proliferation of mobile based tokenized payments,including the launch of Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay amongst others in the region. His markets have also led Mastercard’s foray into remittances and QR payments. Pankaj has two patents that power Mastercard’s QR and in-app payment solution.
